The Committee's Community Agenda for 2010


The 2010 MCPC strategy was discussed and voted on by the members.

The following four initiatives were voted on and approved :

  • The MCPC will be present at 1 school during parent night in January/February, March and September. A speaker will not be arranged, but rather the MCPC will have 1 or 2 representatives present who will hand out brochures regarding the MCPC to parents as they arrive at the school.


  • The MCPC will do a similar initiative but more targeted towards traffic in April and May at a school.


  • MCPC brochures will be distributed at the farmer's market one day in the summer based on the success of the initiative in 2009.


  • The MCPC will have an information booth at the Milton Street Festival on Saturday June 05, 2010 between 10a.m. and 8p.m.
